Director of Marketing

The Role

Voltus is looking for a whip-smart, data-driven, detail-oriented, accountable, and creative Director of Marketing to help propel our sales machine forward. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Director of Marketing is responsible for the co-creation and execution of the marketing plan as well as its measured impact on the productivity of the sales team. The successful candidate will epitomize Voltus's core values of Bright, Gritty, and Good, will have a deep desire to be successful in this role, and will stay firmly grounded in the return on investment (ROI) of all marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a team of world-class marketers to deliver on goals
• Amplify our value proposition to the world through targeted and well thought out media and communications campaigns

• Manage a team of Field Marketing Managers to create market-specific marketing campaigns
• Coordinate marketing campaigns for verticals that span markets (industry-specific, CashGen, etc.)
• Work with Product Marketing to spotlight our platform and ensure that prospects and customers understand the value of Voltus
• Own marketing tech stack and the identification of new marketing-specific technology solutions
• Create and champion the overall business case for how marketing drives productivity and the future investments Voltus should make in marketing
• Grow into a market expert and a named author of company media (white papers, Vlogs)

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of marketing experience (B2B or SaaS preferred)
• 3+ years of marketing management experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Must demonstrate entrepreneurial creativity and confidence
• Marketing operations experience preferred
• Data-driven decision maker
• Obsessively focused on ROI for all marketing initiatives
• Super user of marketing tech stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, Sendoso, Outreach)
• BS/BA, MBA preferred
