This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Operational Analytics.   Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Create and curate platform datasets to share with internal teams.</li><li>Build and maintain data visualizations for internal decision-making and external reporting.</li><li>Run ad-hoc analysis on datasets such as electricity prices, power production, grid emissions, etc.</li><li>Write documentation on internal datasets or analytics workflows.</li><li>Work collaboratively across the Product, Engineering, Developer Services and Customer Engagement teams to deliver data solutions and standard products for customer needs and product development</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1-2 years of experience in data analytics and data visualization.</li><li>Proven analytical skills, with a focus on data wrangling and exploratory analysis.</li><li>Experience in MS Excel, Python scripting, SQL, and Tableau is required. Specific experience with pandas/polars/duckdb, dbt/Tableau Prep, Jupyter Notebooks, MySQL/PostgreSQL/BigQuery and version control is preferred.</li><li>Strong communications skills and the ability to message complex issues to a diverse audience.</li><li>Degree in a quantitative field such as Physics, Mathematics, or similar.</li><li>Interest in financial modeling is a plus.</li><li>Experience in renewable energy, electricity markets, or sustainability is a plus.</li><li>Seattle based is preferred.</li></ul>Additional Details<ul><li>The estimated compensation for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
