Customer Data Analyst

Redaptive Inc. is seeking a hungry, energetic, personable and teachable Customer Data Analyst. The Customer Data Analyst will be responsible for interfacing with customers and partners to help them get the most out of International Electron's Data-as-a-Service platform.  International Electron (a Redaptive, Inc. company) is a technology company within Redaptive that develops and deploys large-scale energy data platforms designed to help organizations digitize their facility management and become better energy stewards. This data analytics role is the perfect intersection of data analytics and customer success.  This role is critical to International Electron’s strategy and will be essential to meeting its revenue and growth targets. This position reports to Energy Engineering Leader at International Electron, with support from our head of Data Science. This position may be done anywhere in the remote USA except Colorado at this time.

Job Responsibilities

• Become an expert in our python-based energy software platform.
• Help train customer users on how to get the most out of the tool.
• Help customers work through any concerns about their data, directing any issues to the appropriate parties within International Electron and Redaptive.
• Interface with partners and customers to receive, process and organize data and documents that helps inform analyses of their meter data.
• Ensure customers have access to their data, either by administrating access to data portals or by fulfilling custom data requests.
• Work with the energy engineering team to build custom decks visualizing data and/or walk customers through data in live presentations and answer any questions that may arise.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

• 2 + years of experience in using databases, particularly PostgreSQL databases to store and organize data.
• 2 + years of experience in interfacing with customers to provide technical solutions and explanation.
• Able to prioritize and manage tasks across a wide variety of customer needs.
• Thrive in a highly-dynamic, rapid-growth and demanding environment.
• Excellent communication skills with superb listening skills.

Desired experience (not required)

• Understanding of building power management as well as energy data a plus.
• Scripting skills with Python a strong plus.
• Understanding of the IoT ecosystem and data services a plus.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with technical issues; excellent business judgement.
• Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future
