Position Overview
This position will support REBA’s work to advance well-designed organized wholesale electricity markets in the Western region of the U.S. Broadly, REBA’s policy work aims to:
This role will be supporting the senior manager of our organized wholesale markets program in collaboration with the rest of the Policy Innovation team. This role requires experience with and relationships related to Western wholesale market structures, market options, clean energy policy developments and state and stakeholder views on markets. The role will require strong coordination and written and verbal communication skills along with demonstrated technical and analytical skills, preferably with prior experience working on western energy policy issues. The role also requires being comfortable with the inherent ambiguity and shifting priorities of policy work. The candidate must be able to maintain a simultaneous focus on implementation tasks and the overall project objectives.

Our associate salary band ranges from $68,000 - $103,500, with a 5% bonus opportunity. REBA strives for salary equity based on the job, and the candidate’s experience, skills, education, and (once hired) performance at REBA—not based on a candidate’s negotiation skills, gender, race, sexual orientation, or any other non-skills-based attributes.
