Director - Platform Development , Data Services & Integrations is a high impact, prominent role.  This role will be responsible for furthering Jupiter Intelligence as an innovative technical leader and developing stellar solutions. The successful candidate will be well-versed in managing and delivering effective solutions across functional areas such as Data Engineering, DevOPs, Identity and Access Management, and will have extensive experience leading the development of platform and services meeting product and technology objectives.

Your critical responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Lead and manage the overall design, development, and technical approach/solution for Jupiter’s  ClimateScore Platform development
• Interpret technical requirements and develop solutions working with the team on system design and architecture
• Lead Technical Team(s) with a variety of skill sets to meet Product Objectives while maintaining quality and times lines
• Lead technology solutions focused on improving efficiency within current projects
• Lead processes and procedures to control, identify, implement, and maintain processes and tools that streamline Service Delivery from solutions implementation perspective
• Stay current on industry practices and issues, assessing and communicating their potential opportunity for the business
• Support all aspects of the software development life-cycle with innovative technical ideas, reviews and discussions
• Contribute to the development of best practices and continuous improvement of the code base
• Provide technical leadership on prospective business opportunities
• Write, edit, and review technical design and implementation documents
• Support the development and enhancement of technical requirements working closely with Product management

What You Bring:

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive the team to a pragmatic solution in a distributed environment
• Strong understanding of distributed technologies to build large scale platforms utilizing public or private cloud.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in Python, GoLang and linux environment a big plus
• Strong experience  in Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Web Services, Cloud Service Providers like AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Exposure to ML and MLOps a big advantage
• Experience with managing teams running large scale operational workload using technologies such as Snowflake,  BigQuery, Serverless Aurora or DynamoDB
• Some exposure to K8s, micro-services and distributed monitoring and tracing frameworks
• Basic understanding of GIS systems, data stores and libraries is a big plus
• Knowledge and Experience in Agile Development Approach, DevOps and Security will have an added advantage
• Ability to convert business and product requirements into logical segments for better system designs
• Experience in evaluating third party big data and ML platforms
• At least 10 years experience managing teams delivering complex large scale Data Intensive Systems
