Job Description:

The Planning Manager, Vehicles will be responsible for leading the forecast and demand planning activities for new vehicles worldwide. The candidate will evaluate historical trends and solicit input from stakeholders in order to produce a monthly demand forecast. Working actively with colleagues in procurement in finance, the role will include driving the supply chain to execute the plan once approved. In addition, the individual will support product transition planning (NPI, EOL) with assumption gathering and lifecycle tracking for all Spin vehicles. Furthermore, the individual will support strategic planning by using analytics to identify potential areas of improvement. The role requires a proactive, detail oriented, and autonomous approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. The Planning Manager, Vehicles will interface with many individuals across the organization, and will have the ability to collaborate well and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

  • Lead and continuously improve the Sales & Operations Planning process for new vehicles at Spin.
  • Manage the demand forecast: incorporating changes, aligning with stakeholders, and updating the supply chain to enable execution.
  • Partner closely with launch and central market operations to understand the company road map and fleet strategy.
  • Utilize scenario planning and analytical tools to evaluate decision points, and present recommendations to support informed decision making.
  • Publish metrics and monitor performance against these in order to drive performance against company objectives and key results.
  • Establish and develop strong working relationships within the Operations team.
  • Report on planning activities company wide, and leverage available analytics to inform changes and improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned within the Supply Chain Operations organization.
