We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator to join our Facilities team. This hands-on position plays a key role in the upkeep and operations of our Boston office. The role partners with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to ensure the integrity of physical infrastructure  as well as improve efficiency and cost-savings of facilities operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in operating facilities and performing building services tasks
  • Maintain the physical condition of the facility in accordance with company standards and local/federal regulations
  • Resolving day to day requests from key stakeholders and maintaining the facilities request system
  • Meet with key external vendors and contractors
  • Manage and assign tasks to Boston facilities team
  • Become familiar with Boston staff and works with them to proactively address facilities needs
  • Creatively identifying and optimize workflows

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or 2-year certification in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2 years of  experience in facilities, laboratories and/or construction industry preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • Possess a strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience and knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems maintenance 
  • Well-versed in employee safety and building security related topics
