Skeleton's Process & Industrial Engineering team is looking for a driven

Industrial Engineer End of Line Testing

with the vision to match our ambition.

In this role, you would be the key member of successfully commissioning and starting the equipment and processes belonging to your area of responsibility- End of Line Testing- in our new Leipzig Gigafactory.

Your tasks in the net zero journey:

  • Single point of contact for the equipment manufacturer during the project execution - tracking supplier's progress via regular timeline and task list reviews.
  • Responsibility for the assigned part of the manufacturing line.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that the agreed technical specifications are implemented in the equipment.
  • Solving and closing the technical open points related to the equipment.
  • Maintaining and structuring the equipment-related documentation for future scale-up phases.
  • Internal responsibility over equipment FAT at the manufacturer's site, documenting the FAT report, assignment of post-FAT improvement actions, and contact person for move-in to Skeleton's factory.
  • Responsibility over equipment commissioning and SAT in Skeleton's factory.
  • Responsible for keeping the equipment manufacturing on time and on cost.
  • Providing daily input to the project back office and leadership team regarding the timeline and progress of the assigned manufacturing equipment.
  • Execution of calculations for manufacturing output according to the overall scale up requirement.
  • Define product and process specifications, develop test plans and implement them in production and define and check the acceptance criteria for End of Line Testing.


Requirements

We don’t expect to master it all. At Skeleton, you’ll have the support of the team and we work together to achieve our goals. However, there are requirements you should be able to fulfill to succeed in this role:

  • Successfully completed studies as an Electrical Engineer.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in the battery- or supercapacitor industry in big scale production in End of Line Testing.
  • Understanding of manufacturability studies.
  • Previous experience with PFMEA processes and evaluation of manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fix bugs.
  • Previous experience in having dealt with customer escalations.
  • You bring sense of business thinking and project management experience would be beneficial.
  • Structured working style, focused.
  • Strong will to solve process- and manufacturing problems- hands-on readiness to find solutions.
  • Independent working style but keeping the friendly demeanor and team-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to go an extra mile and eager to learn and develop.
  • Have fluent English and German language skills.
