Project Procurement Manager

<ul><li>Your mission at Climeworks is to support us to implement contracting processes to deliver multi-million projects able to contribute to the reduction/elimination of CO2 to fight global warming.</li><li>You define, develop and implement the most suitable Contracting Strategy related to a Project Procurement Plan to ensure medium/long term business strategy and Company goals are met.</li><li>You ensure the optimization of supply of goods and services in a cost-effective manner within defined operational timescales.</li><li>You manage Invitations to Tender, evaluation of quotations and the recommendation of award, all within procurement procedures and local regulation.</li><li>You follow up clarifications meetings with contractors to align terms and conditions (unpriced evaluation)</li><li>You conduct commercial evaluations to define tender winner according to defined awarding criteria (lower bidder/most advantageous offer/total cost of ownership)</li><li>You develop key sourcing activities, ensuring equipment and service availability to meet company goals while minimizing risk. </li><li>You create and own the strategic relationship with suppliers and internal stakeholders while building collaboration within and across organizational boundaries</li><li>You set challenging targets of savings in any procurement process with the aim to reduce the total cost of ownership</li><li>You participate in high level negotiations with key Contractors.</li><li>You develop and continually improve contract templates in alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g., align requirements for new services / align terms with finance, tax, legal)</li><li>You contribute to update/generate procurement procedures/operative instruction according to the procurement best practices and past experiences.</li></ul><ul><li>You hold a master's degree in an engineering discipline or related field.</li><li>You have at least 10 years of experience, preferably in Construction or with industrial environmental projects.</li><li>You acquired knowledge of procurement/commercial strategy definition and implementation, particularly in Project procurement.</li><li>You can build positive working relationships with the stakeholders.</li><li>Your focus is on achieving results that further Climeworks' mission.</li><li> You are a highly motivated self-starter who has the ability to prioritize well.</li><li>You are proficient in English, and your excellent communication skills set you apart.</li><li>You are willing to travel up to 20%.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong><br>At Climeworks, we foster a positive, purpose-driven, and inclusive culture.
