We hire teammates who are bright, gritty, and good and who have a genuine passion for delivering a cleaner energy future and for working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. </span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">The Role</span></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Voltus is looking for a Product Manager to drive the end-to-end experience of our proprietary electricity metering hardware.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">You will build a deep understanding of the needs of the internal and external users who manage our fleet of devices, combining this with an analytical approach to problem-solving to drive how your product pod contributes to organizational goals. The ideal candidate has exposure to, or can demonstrate strong interest in, the management of IoT devices.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">You are an enthusiastic right-brain communicator, with strong left-brain technical capability. You love simplifying complex concepts and can quickly deep dive into the heart of an issue. You are eager to work with some of the smartest software engineers out there, and to learn from and collaborate with them and other Bright, Gritty, and Good colleagues. You care about doing the right thing, as well as doing it the right way.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span style="font-size:16px;">Voltus is a fully distributed company and this job is remote. You have the flexibility to work from anywhere, but your workday must align with a continental US-based time zone. </span></div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop objectives, strategy and delivery milestones for a product pod</li><li>Prioritize of the roadmap in strong partnership with engineers and designers, backed up by qualitative and quantitative data</li><li>Build best-in-class user experience for these products that drives high adoption, satisfaction, retention</li><li>Perform research and conduct analysis to determine the success of initiatives</li><li>Collaborate with the engineering manager to manage the day-to-day efforts of ongoing initiatives, from managing standups, to triaging bugs, to providing project updates to the organization</li><li>Partner with cross-functional teams within Voltus to ensure the product is successful, adequately supported, integrated with the company’s operations and aligned with our business strategy</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience, with at least 1 in developing hardware or software products</li><li>Demonstrated interest or experience in managing IoT products</li><li>Self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously</li><li>Strong understanding of technical concepts and software development methodologies</li><li>Ability to distill data into actionable insights</li><li>Equally strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Bonus: experience working in an agile environment</li><li>Bonus: experience working in the energy technology industry</li></ul><br><div><span style="font-size:11pt;">In addition to a competitive compensation package, Voltus offers a range of benefits including: unlimited leave for full-time employees, parental leave, and a comprehensive benefits package to promote health, wellness, and financial security.</span></div><div><br></div><div>At Voltus, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer because we recognize that a diverse organization begins with a diverse candidate pool.
