🤖 Bioprocess Technician

We're looking for a Bioprocess Technician to join our awesome team.

You will join our R&D team in London, working at the cutting edge of mammalian tissue culture systems to support the development of cultivated fat. Alongside brilliant engineers, biologists, and mathematicians, you will characterise the protocols and technologies to drive our progress toward large-scale manufacture.

At every step, you’ll play a huge role in shaping the future of food.

As a Bioprocess Technician, you will work within our Bioprocess Development team to assist with experiment execution. You will focus on supporting the team with routine cell culture and reactor operations, and participate in experiments and protocol optimisation studies. Your diligence, talent for collaboration, and reliability will make you an essential member of our team.

You should have:

• A master's degree (or equivalent experience) in biochemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, biomanufacturing, or a related discipline

• Experience with mammalian cell culture in flasks

• Excellent aseptic technique in biosafety cabinets

• Familiarity with stirred tank reactors

• Experience following SOPs

• A talent for teamwork and collaboration

• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and drive

Ideally you'll have experience in some, but not necessarily all, of the following areas:

• Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) software

• Sterile media preparation at 15-50 L scale

• Instrumentation and data acquisition

• Downstream processing experience at bench scale
