Director of FP&A

Tomorrow.io’s Finance department: tomorrow.io ’s Accounting and Finance Team supports all teams globally with relevant and timely financial data in order to make informed business decisions. We interact with each team at tomorrow.io and provide support across all business units, focused on tracking key metrics to drive the Company forward.

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Director of FP&A who is eager to learn and dive into Finance at a high growth startup.

This person will report directly to the CFO. You will be a key member of a lean Finance team, owning many areas of the budgeting & reporting process, and having visibility into all things Accounting & Finance. You will also have the opportunity to work directly with our executive team in Boston, and play an important role as we scale our reporting and metrics.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintain the Company’s operating plan. Build and enhance financial models used to forecast and report the company’s key business metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with budget controls and systems, and develop new reporting processes to support fast-growing business units
  • Create new reports and dashboards to highlight trends and variances in key areas, build and maintain reporting cadence to business units and budget owners
  • Play an integral role in quarterly financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Perform ad hoc analysis or scenario modeling as directed by COO & CFO

What It Takes

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance or related discipline
  • 6+ years’ of relevant work experience, with at least 2 years of direct FP&A experience
  • SaaS industry experience (preferably at a public company)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong partnership experience with cross functional teams in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of US GAAP and Saas revenue recognition standards
  • Advanced quantitative skills with a passion for using data to drive better decision-making
  • Hands-on approach with attention to detail

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Tableau, or similar BI tools.
  • Investment banking experience
  • Experience in Salesforce and NetSuite
