Data Scientist – Plant Operations (80-100%)

<ul><li>Your mission as a Data Scientist/Analyst, is to play a key role in supporting plant operations to harness the full potential of data-driven insights, understand data needs and provide actionable insights.</li><li>You use statistical analysis and ML techniques to extract valuable insights from plant data and drive data-driven decision-making.</li><li>You maintain and enhance automated reports and dashboards to monitor plant performance and communicate findings and insights effectively.</li><li>You work in cross-function teams including plant operators, engineers, researchers, and other data scientists to analyze and interpret plant data to support plant optimization initiatives and support daily plant operation.</li><li>You set up and maintain ETL processes on our data platform to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility across different systems and platforms.</li><li>You analyze and interpret plant data to identify opportunities and methods to improve plant performance and support daily plant operation.</li><li>You stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and data engineering to drive innovation and continuous improvement.</li></ul><ul><li>You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Process-, Chemical-, Mechanical-Engineering, or related fields.</li><li>You have at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role with proven experience in large-scale plant operations or manufacturing environment.</li><li><span>Ideally you bring knowledge of plant operations processes and systems</span>.</li><li>You have strong proficiency in data analysis using Python.</li><li>You bring experience with ML techniques, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.</li><li><span>You feel confident in Data Engineering using SQL, Databricks. Azure is a strong plus.</span></li><li>You have proven track record of delivering actionable insights and driving process improvements through data-driven analysis.</li><li>You bring excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges in an interdisciplinary work environment. </li><li>You are highly self-motivated, proactive, precise, and thrive on hands-on tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>You enjoy being a collaborative team player and are enthusiastic about contributing to a rapidly evolving environment.</li><li>You possess excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>You are fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus.<br></li></ul><p><strong>Your team:</strong> As a young, passionate, and highly motivated data team, we play a pivotal role in facilitating our business to scale up.
