Finance Associate

<p><strong>The Company</strong></p> <p>Our client is a leading clean energy firm. In total, the company has acquired or developed tens of gigawatts of renewable energy &amp; energy storage systems.</p> <p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p> <p>Our client seeks a Finance Associate to support with raising capital to ensure sufficient funding of the company&rsquo;s expansion.&nbsp;The successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with various teams, including finance, development &amp; accounting. The Finance Associate will help with determining the company&rsquo;s financial needs, develop relationships with providers of capital, as well as structure &amp; execute new capital raises.</p> <p><strong>Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work cohesively with the development team to understand risks</li> <li>Provide complicated financial modeling</li> <li>Assess value of company</li> <li>Propose new funding strategies</li> <li>Support with executing transactions</li> <li>Develop &amp; maintain relationships with a range of third parties</li> <li>Maintain a strong understanding of market trends</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in relevant field</li> <li>Familiarity with federal &amp; state regulatory business models is preferable</li> <li>Experience in the energy sector as well as in investing or raising capital is required</li> <li>Strong track record in transactions</li> <li>Energy industry-specific knowledge of risk mitigation tactics</li> <li>Ability to excel while working on a number of projects simultaneously</li> <li>Understanding of project finance</li> <li>Exceptional analytical &amp; research skills</li> <li>Passionate about clean energy</li> </ul>
