Job Description

Position Overview

The Asset Management Analyst will be responsible two scopes of work:

1. Reporting on the performance of Invenergy\'s operating portfolio tointernal and external stakeholders

2. Assisting in a wide range of activities all directed toward the samegoal: maximizing the profitability of Invenergy\'s operating assets.

Responsibilities

Reporting:

  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the financial andoperational performance of Invenergy\'s clean energy operatingportfolio for the Asset Management team, senior management, andoutside investors
  • Analyze and explain variances between actual and expectedperformance by identifying key operational and commercial drivers incollaboration with the Asset Management, Operations, CommercialExecution, and Accounting teams

Finance:

  • Assist in developing annual budgets for the projects and performperiodic variance analyses
  • Provide input and review of the pro-forma financial models for newgeneration assets
  • Draft reports on project performance for investors and lenders
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and management
  • Perform financial analyses of aftermarket improvements
  • Develop other ad-hoc analyses as needed

Operations:

  • Collaborate with the operations engineering team to evaluate andimprove operational performance.
  • Coordinate with project O&M staff on other operational items,including major component repair and replacement
  • Coordinate with energy marketing to register and commission newassets and find revenue improvement or risk mitigation opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and projectagreements

Regulatory and compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and projectagreements, including operating agreements, credit agreements,operations and maintenance agreements, and power purchase agreements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Engineering,Mathematics, Economics) and coursework in Finance or Accounting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Some travel required.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employervisa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the energy industry is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience with standard financial metrics and analyses (NPV, IRR,DCF models) preferred.
