We seek a Senior Developer (M/F/D) with at least 3 years of experience with Golang and designing, building, and operating production systems. It’s crucial for us that you already have that recommended experience and have worked full-time before.

• Develop and operate services for protocol stacks in the cloud and on the edge

• Optimize energy flow for renewable energy producers and consumers 

• Help with the development, troubleshooting, and refactoring of our running application and collaborate with team members to break down, refine, and tackle tasks in a Kanban workflow.

• Establish best practices related to coding style, testing strategies, and workflows

• Demonstrated ability to work independently on multi-party projects, including collaboration with hardware manufacturers.

• Guide others to write readable code with testability in mind.

• Highlight edge cases and emphasize rollout and migration considerations

• Own the production operation and system monitoring and be aware of its SLAs

• Ensure real-world data arrives in the internal cloud via the edge device (gridBox) and Extend & improve our release and deployment tooling for the edge device (gridBox)

• Ensure new features are properly monitored and create plans to mitigate outages 

• Help others to understand where refactoring is needed and how to write operable software

This is how you and your application stand out

• You worked for at least 3+ years with Go/ Golang in a full-time position before and have an understanding of IoT that you can apply

• You are familiar with CI/CD and have already gained experience designing, building, and operating production systems in the cloud and on the edge

• You have expertise in network technologies and are skilled in identifying and resolving issues related to them

• A proven track record of effectively managing projects independently
