Indigo’s Sr. People Systems Manager will be a subject matter expert for all People Team systems, including day-to-day operations as well as future-looking improvements. He or she will own and maintain our current People Team systems, as well as utilize technology to continuously improve our systems, resulting in increased efficiency and ease of use.

Responsibilities

Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Workday on a global level:

  • Leads the People Team’s involvement in Workday implementation
  • Develop and deliver training material, ad-hoc end-user support materials, and process documentation of business processes
  • Own system integrations through Workday
  • Ensure Workday data is clean and updated
  • Provide advice/best practices for configuration of the system

Assess current and future technology to maximize solutions and identify gaps:

  • Meet with key stakeholders across the company to identify current needs and future asks
  • Work with business leads to prioritize needs
  • Work with IT to come up to speed on HRIS Roadmap

Own the day-to-day operations of all People-related systems:

  • Builds reports as needed
  • Maintains data integrity
  • When things go wrong, performs root cause analysis – resolves risks, defects, and issues with top-notch communication to all stakeholders
  • Coordinates and owns system updates, version releases, etc. to ensure the minimal-to-no impact of business functionality
  • Constantly seeks out process/automation improvements
  • Establish strong, positive relationships with all external vendors

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years experience with Workday; implementation experience preferred
  • Experience in a company with at least one of the following characteristics:
    • High growth
    • 1,000+ employees
    • Publicly-traded
  • Knowledge of US and Global data laws
  • In-depth knowledge of HRIS events and cycles (open enrollment, benefits, etc.)
  • Experience setting up automated feeds
  • International experience preferred
