ABOUT PLEDGE

Pledge is the easiest way for businesses and their customers to make a positive environmental impact.

We’re on a mission to raise climate change awareness and support businesses in their net zero transition by offering the tools and software infrastructure to help scale greenhouse gas emissions measurement, reduction and offsetting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Pledge’s first marketing hire you'll play a defining role in the company’s brand identity and conveying all of the platform’s benefits to both potential customers and carbon removal partners. You'll work in close collaboration with the founders, engineering and business development teams as well as other internal and external stakeholders.

Pledge works with B2B customers across a range of sectors including logistics, travel, and e-commerce, amongst others. The role will entail building a deep understanding of our business and our customers’ needs in order to develop content that our stakeholders and will contribute to the success of the business and the mission.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Define Pledge’s marketing strategy for both customers and carbon removal partners
  • Develop and test marketing channels, from content generation to paid marketing, to generate inbound interest from customers and carbon removal partners
  • Produce relevant sales and marketing collateral and position Pledge as a thought leader in the space
  • Lead Pledge’s tone of voice as well as all internal and external communications

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role with a demonstrated track record of success with SaaS products
  • Experience working in a cross-functional product team, ideally building B2B SaaS products
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A consultative mindset of listening, understanding and anticipating customer and carbon removal partner needs as well as finding effective solutions out of complex use cases
  • Experience building a team as well as managing and mentoring team members and/or external contractors and freelancers
