About the Role 

As a leader on the Finance team, you will work cross-functionally to support the company in its operations. You will lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, own all accounting deliverables, and build out processes to make the organization more efficient and effective. Additionally, you will work with third party tax and audit providers as well as ensure GAAP compliance.

 

What You’ll Do 

• Manage the daily operations of the accounting department
• Work with the finance team to complete the accounting close cycle 
• Report financials to the C-Suite and Investors    
• Build processes to ensure GAAP compliance and improve the flow of information across the organization
• Support treasury and vendor management activities 
• Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
• Work with the go-to-market team to strategize on revenue streams and GAAP compliance

 

What You Bring 

• 4+ years of accounting experience including 2+ years in Audit
• Ability to own the accounting close cycle from start to finish
• An entrepreneurial spirit that wants to build processes from scratch and is comfortable with ambiguity
• NetSuite experience is a plus
• Fund accounting knowledge and equity compensation accounting is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 

• Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills, attention to detail, effective time management, ability to work and learn independently and with a team
• Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Curiosity, tenacity, flexibility, entrepreneurial spirit, and a desire to build a business in a rapidly evolving market
