Who we’re looking for:
We are seeking a dynamic People Operations professional to build a best-in-class people function that aligns with Crux's core values, facilitating the recruitment and retention of top-tier and diverse talent. This role will support our growth to a workforce of 50+ employees by implementing scalable and effective people strategies, and report into our Head of Operations, Jess Zhao.

What you’ll do:
Strategic Execution: Implement the company's overarching people strategy in line with business objectives and growth plans. Design and prioritize people programs that enhance scalability as the organization expands to over 50 employees. Lead HR projects and initiatives supporting the company's ongoing development.
Talent Acquisition: Oversee the entire recruitment and hiring process, collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract premier talent. Develop and apply best practices for talent acquisition including employer branding, sourcing strategies, and enhancing candidate experiences.
Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage comprehensive processes to ensure seamless transitions for both incoming and outgoing staff.
HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and uphold HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Employee Support: Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, career development, and employee relations. Develop and conduct training programs.
Compensation and Benefits: Design and implement competitive, equitable compensation and benefits programs.
Cultural and Value Alignment: Champion initiatives that reinforce a culture of belonging and ensure equal opportunities for all employees.
Employee Engagement: Organize and execute company offsites and key engagement events.
People Systems Management: Handle decisions regarding HRIS and related technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various teams to promote employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
Who you are:
Experienced and Knowledgeable: At least 5 years of experience in people operations, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. Experience at a similar stage company is preferred.
Brings organization to chaos: Comfortable operating in ambiguity while building and maintaining stage-appropriate infrastructure and processes to enable scale.
Strategic and Problem-Solving: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities – if you haven’t done it before, you’re excited to figure out the solution and teach others.
Communicative and Interpersonal: Exceptionally strong written & verbal communication skills; strong translator between different audiences and context-aware.
Reliable Executor: Excited to own processes and their outcomes, rises to the occasion with high executional rigor.
Dynamic and Fast-Paced: Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
