Title: Asset Management Associate

Term: Full-time

Location: Remote, within the U.S.

Compensation: $60,000 annually, plus bonus

Climate change mitigation requires massive clean energy expansion, yet 77 percent of American households cannot install rooftop solar power due to rented housing, the structure of their rooftop, the upfront cost, or access to financing. Solstice connects households and community organizations to “community solar”—shared solar farms that are installed in a centralized location where local residents can enroll in a portion for free, without any home installations, and enjoy guaranteed savings on their monthly utility bill.

Solstice is an award-winning, mission-driven clean energy company working to put affordable, renewable energy in the hands of every household, including low-income populations and communities of color. The clean energy revolution is happening now; Solstice is working to ensure this transition is equitable and widespread by making it simpler and more affordable than ever for homeowners, businesses, and even renters to go solar.

Position Overview:

With surging demand for renewable energy, Solstice is poised for significant scale. As such, we are seeking a detail-oriented, driven, energetic, efficient, reliable, and highly organized Asset Management Associate to support our growing portfolio of Community Solar projects. You’ll work directly with the Business Development team to support data integrity, billing, and reporting efforts and work with developers and utilities to ensure project success. You’ll be responsible for all revenue reporting, bill cycle management, data analysis/management, and stakeholder coordination associated with assigned community solar assets.

  • Serve as a key interlocutor between all Solstice departments (e.g. software, sales, marketing, operations, and inclusion) to communicate asset management needs related to software development and identify new platform features that can be used to streamline recurring tasks and enhance visibility into project health.
  • Assist in data management tasks to improve the accuracy and accessibility of information pertaining to subscriber acquisition/management across all Solstice platforms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
  • At least one (1) year of experience with data management/analysis, particularly working within Excel/Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to distill pertinent information and articulate key results to internal and external stakeholders in a productive manner
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Creative, personable, enthusiastic, proactive, team-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams and prioritize effectively
  • Excited to work in a fast-paced, startup environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Experience in data analysis, financial services, customer service, or other related field, is a plus
  • Strong interest in environmentalism, clean energy, and/or social equity
