You’ll be at the forefront of expanding our footprint in the food wholesale industry by acquiring new distributor partners, driving high-impact deals, and building lasting relationships. This is a full-cycle sales role where you’ll own the process from first outreach to signed contract — and have the opportunity to shape how we go to market in Germany. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, including AI solutions, to help an industry that’s still at the start of its digital transformation.<h2>What You’ll Do</h2><ul style=""><li>Take full ownership of the sales cycle: From sourcing your own pipeline to closing deals and handing over to Customer Success.</li><li>Consistently generate new business through cold calling, email, LinkedIn outreach, in-person visits, and referrals.</li><li>Build and nurture relationships with both C-level executives at multi-million-euro companies and owners of family-run businesses.</li><li>Conduct tailored product demos that create urgency and showcase the business impact of Choco’s solutions.</li><li>Negotiate commercial terms that deliver win-win partnerships with long-term value.</li><li>Represent Choco at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.</li><li>Collaborate closely with SDRs, CSMs, and Sales Leadership to share market insights and refine our Go-To-Market approach.</li><li>Adapt quickly to changing priorities, targets, and product offerings in a fast-moving startup environment.</li></ul><h2>What You Bring</h2><ul style=""><li>Proven closing experience as an Account Executive in a SaaS or similar tech environment.</li><li>Strong outbound prospecting skills with a track record of generating and managing your own pipeline.</li><li>Confidence in negotiating with senior decision-makers and handling complex sales processes.</li><li>Ability to explain technical SaaS concepts in a simple, compelling way to non-technical audiences.</li><li>Native-level (or C2) German and professional English skills.</li><li>2+ years of CRM experience (Salesforce is a plus).</li><li>Hands-on mentality and self-motivation to drive results without heavy direction.</li><li>Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a high-change, high-growth environment.</li></ul>Nice to have: Experience in the food distribution/wholesale industry, selling to family-owned businesses, contributing to a GTM playbook, or leveraging AI tools for sales.Choco was founded in 2018 in Berlin.
