This strong foundation of support underpins ambitious plans for future asset-heavy expansion and innovation in the hospitality sector.</p><p><strong><br></strong><strong> About the Role</strong></p><p>As the venture continues to scale and improve their offering, they're looking for a Director of Finance to join the visionary team. This role will be instrumental in guiding the venture towards sustainable financial success and operational excellence within a complex and asset heavy real estate play. </p><ul><li><p>You will be the most senior person in the Finance department and leading a team of 5-10 (starting solely with the Finance function in the beginning and then overseeing related departments like Revenue, BI or Legal as well)</p></li><li><p>You will serve as a strategic business partner to the founders, be a central part of the company leadership team and work closely with all departments of the company</p></li><li><p>You will be fully responsible for all things related to Finance - from overlooking budget planning over the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to cash flow management &amp; liquidity management</p></li><li><p>Actively participating in fundraising activities on the equity side and spearheading debt financing to empower future growth</p></li><li><p>Build and maintain effective relationships with Banks, Accounting Offices, Financial Authorities, and other stakeholders, and oversee external service providers.</p></li><li><p>Continuously monitor and drive process improvements within the Accounting and Finance function, leveraging automation and technology (software systems) to streamline workflows and increase overall efficiency</p></li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><ul><li><p>A minimum of 8+ years of experience in finance, including at least 3 years in a leadership position</p></li><li><p>You have experience working in a startup/fast-paced environment with a complex finance setup (operations-heavy/multiple country/multi-entity business) and expertise structuring and managing debt financing</p></li><li><p>Experience leading, coaching and building a team effectively</p></li><li><p>Proactive, hands-on attitude and ability to work independently</p></li><li><p>Experience with M&amp;A or buy-and-build is a big plus</p></li><li><p>In case you’re based outside of Berlin, being open to traveling to Berlin on a regular basis</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English and German (C1) is a strong must</p></li></ul><div><strong><br></strong></div><div><strong>Why Join:</strong></div><ul><li><p>The opportunity to grow into becoming the CFO </p></li><li><p>Competitive salary &amp; Stock Options</p></li><li><p>Work Environment &amp; Support: Flexible work set-up combining office &amp; remote work, flexible working hours</p></li><li><p>Health: A subsidised Qualitrain Subscription (includes: unlimited Beat81 classes, Holmes Place, Yoga studios, Boulder Halls, etc.) as well as access to our mental health platform with regular 1o1 sessions with coaches, trainers and psychologists</p></li><li><p>Entertainment: Quarterly team events, Christmas party, summer offsite, budget for employee's birthday</p></li><li><p>Traveling: The opportunity to visit our offices in Munich, Berlin &amp; Vienna</p></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p>
