About The Role & Team

We are seeking a Senior Manager - Structured Finance & Transactions for our Execution Services group. This is a newly created position initially reporting to the company’s President while also working closely across senior management.

What You’ll Do

  • Transaction Structuring Guidance: Lead clients through complex financing processes, including project finance, tax equity partnerships, debt, and insurance. Guide the internal Services Team through diligence processes and advice on transaction structures and client needs.
  • Deal and Stakeholder Management: Lead processes with financial institutions, investors, and project partners. Manage contract development and compliance to ensure all commercial terms are met and risks are mitigated.
  • Market Expertise: Stay current with market trends in renewable energy transaction structuring, including tax equity and debt. Lead on IRA compliance and latest developments. Track trends in renewable energy development including policy, regulation, technology, and finance, updating internal teams and participating in market-facing events to enhance Euclid’s market profile
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and grow relationships with advisors in legal, insurance, tax, and real estate, aligning their roles with Euclid’s interests across engagements. Build relationships with Services Leadership Team and engagement leads, understanding their business objectives and key stakeholders.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Define Euclid’s standards and approach in financial structuring across verticals, sharing expertise and best practices. Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO) to conduct quarterly teaching sessions, co-developing topics such as transaction insights, new market opportunities, and key agreement provisions. Align commercial strategies with technical capabilities by working closely with the technical team. Supervise, coach, and collaborate with functional teams including M&A, Project Development, Project Controls, and PMO.
  • Tools and Knowledge Management Support: Help define and own the content of relevant financial tracking tools, as well as advisory/training support across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in renewable energy project finance, M&A, banking, legal, or private equity
  • Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex transactions in project development, M&A, financing involving sponsors, investors, developers, lenders and/or tax equity in solar, storage, or wind
  • In-depth understanding of equity, debt, and tax equity structures and deal dynamics, documentation, compliance, typical transaction structures, and key risk allocation principles
  • General comfort and familiarity with energy regulatory matters, project real property and permitting requirements, offtake and revenue, interconnection, EPC, budgeting, scheduling and other key project parameters

Preference May Be Given To Candidates With The Following:

The starting base salary for this role is between $220,000 and $275,000 with an equity award as part of your all-in compensation. The actual base salary and equity is dependent upon many factors, such as education, experience, skills, and internal compensation equity. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity and benefits.
