We make the technology to move energy usage to times when electricity is cheap and green. Our software controls vehicle charging, heating systems, and home batteries. We use machine learning to figure out what energy people will need, and when they'll need it. We control tens of thousands of energy assets, and we’re growing quickly.

What’s the role?

We’re looking for someone to supercharge our commercial operations. We’re continually scaling our product across new markets and new clients, and we want to go even faster.

You’ll be Axle’s first business hire. This is a wide-ranging role that’ll require you to move at speed across diverse topics; in return, you’ll gain high levels of ownership and exposure. Example topics include:

• entering new markets, from research & analysis to planning & delivery
• helping our new and existing clients get the most out of our software
• exploring and evaluating opportunities for growth in new verticals and customer segments

What are we looking for?

This is a high-velocity, high-impact role. To succeed, you’ll need to learn quickly, and absorb & process highly technical information. You’ll need to be strong with data, and have a ‘run through walls’ attitude to overcome the inevitable barriers.

Logistics

We love the idea of fully remote work but it doesn't… work. For very early stage companies, people learn faster, get on better, and accomplish more when they're spending a decent chunk of time together.

• We ask that you spend 2-3 days a week in our London office.
• Compensation of £50-90k: we’re open to talented folks with little or lots of experience. You will also receive a meaningful slice of equity in the company.
