Investment Associate

<p>The role of the Investment Associate entails assisting the scouting and vetting of ocean impact startup investments, conducting due diligence analysis, creating financial modeling and projections, tracking company growth and impact, executing the investment process, some strategy work, and proposing investment deals to the SOA Investment Committee and Seabird Ventures. The role also involves developing and nurturing relationships with other ocean impact investors/accelerators/partners to expand SOA's presence within the ecosystem. Involves regular check-ins with portfolio company CEOs and monitoring the timing and details of upcoming company investment rounds. The position also involves analyzing industries and trends relevant to ocean impact investments, as well as supporting the accounting and operations related to deploying impact investments. The Associate may also support fundraising efforts as needed for future investment vehicles. Reporting to the Director of Investments with oversight from the Chief Impact and Investments Officer. This role is based out of San Francisco, CA.&nbsp;</p>
