Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the preparation and submission of monthly financial and management reporting, working in conjuction with an external accouting firm, providing entries and being the first level reviewer of BS and P&L.

  • Ensure project compliance with accounting standards (IFRS) and company policies.

  • Prepare monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, report discrepancies and work to keep books clean and up to date.

  • Responsible for managing the cost center structure, system implementation/optimization, acting as business partner supporting business leader/decision-makers with accurate reports.

  • Support the monthly review of the calculation of corporate taxes (Income Tax and Social Contribution under the Real Profit tax regime), deferred taxes and tax losses.

  • Support the review of all statutory obligations associated with accounting and tax matters.

  • Provide support in establishing the process to calculate profitability by project (P&L by cost/profit center);

  • Ad hoc reports, demands reviews as needed.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration, economics, or related areas.

  • 5+ years of progressive consultancy, accounting, tax, or audit experience

  • Ability to adhere to monthly, quarterly, and annual department driven deadlines.

  • Strong coordination / organization skills with attentiveness to timelines

  • Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products is required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills – able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Responsible, dependable, and possessing an exceptional work ethic

  • Ability to adapt and work well in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Ability to deliver while working under time pressure on multiple assignments.

  • Highly effective troubleshooting and ability to work with little supervision.

  • Intermidiate to advanced English level
