Position Description: 
As a MANUFACTURING LEAD, you will supervise, motivate, coach, and lead the Manufacturing Team activities during their production shift. The ideal candidate will have a background with CNC machines, people management skills, and strong communication skills.
 
As a MANUFACTURING LEAD, you will focus on these responsibilities:
* Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing team and maintenance operations to ensure minimal downtime.
* Minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, and capital.
* Responsible for open and close of the department.
* Documents actions by completing production logs.
* Monitor attendance, tardiness, time off for the team.
* Conduct performance reviews and sharing feedback with both management and team members.
* Ensures that personnel are carrying out work as per schedule, to company and customer specification, assigning work per employee’s capabilities.
* Ensures appropriate safety standards are set and personnel understand and abide by safety procedures, practices, and policies.
* Supports and communicates management decisions and acts as employee liaison with management.
* Establishes and maintains effective communication systems, and an effective, efficient, harassment/discriminatory-free work environment which supports our continuous improvement efforts.
* Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
* Comply with and enforce internal Quality Management Systems.
* Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
* Promote health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
* Promote, maintain, and improve housekeeping in all areas.
* Assists with related special projects, as required.
 
 
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
* High School Diploma or GED
* 4-year minimum experience in lead position in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience with CNC machines is preferred, but not required.
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills
* Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
* Working knowledge of ISO and Quality Management Systems.

Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship. Salary range is $70,000 - $95,000, depending on experience and education. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.  Eligibility to participate in: the discretionary incentive plan assigned to the level of position upon offer of employment; medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) plan and flexible spending accounts, subject to plan terms; Company-paid benefits such as life insurance, short- and long-term disability, subject to applicable waiting periods.  Paid time off (PTO) is accrued on a per-pay period basis in accordance with tenure in the Company; a new hire can expect 17 days per year. Twelve (12) Company-paid holidays.
