Director of Product, Banking

As Director of Product Banking at Aspiration, you’ll have a rare opportunity to build consumer software products that truly make a difference in the world. In this role, you will be charged with taking our banking products at new heights. You will help to improve our current banking and investment products and expand into new product verticals. The right leader for this role will have an inherent connection to our core values and an insatiable desire to drive the product roadmap, end-to-end.

What You'll Do

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution for broker-dealer / banking part of Aspiration (Aspiration and Aspiration Plus) with a sense of autonomy, mastery, and purpose and ensure the roadmap is aligned with our customers
• Perform qualitative and quantitative research to identify, prioritize, and iterate on opportunities across products and departments 
• Oversee a team of thoughtful, entrepreneurial, and customer-obsessed product managers and drive end-to-end product development with a team of world-class designers, engineers, and analysts
• Ensure that Aspiration customers have an intuitive, reliable, and expeditious experience when managing their finances
• Drive a culture of quantitative decision-making process and look to incorporate machine learning into feature roadmap

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of product management experience
• 2+ years of experience managing PMs, team OKRs, goals, and objectives
• Startup/tech company experience a plus
• Experience building, launching, and managing consumer banking products
• Experience with Plaid, Stripe, Orum, and banking processor APIs a huge plus
• Ability to lead the stakeholders and the broader team with humility and an optimistic, positive attitude
• A primal obsession with our customer’s financial success
• Startup/tech company experience a plus
