Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Project Planning Intern in Sao Paulo – Brazil to be part of our global team working together towards our vision – Improving our future. As our Project Planner Intern you will be assisting and supporting some the Lead planner with different planning related tasks.

 

Main responsibilities  

  • Create and share with the project team a 2 week-look ahead of activities to guide priorities.
  • Maintain and update the high-level timeline.
  • Update (Man-Hours) estimation as needed together with PM and Cost controller.
  • Support project manager with Gate Review planning and preparation.
  • Support engineering team reviewing and making sure forecasted IFR and IFC engineering documents dates in the SMDL are not in the past.
  • Create progress dashboards in Power BI.
  • Support with planning inputs for client monthly progress report, management bi-weekly or any other stakeholders presentations.
  • Reviewing the schedules durations and lead times from suppliers and contractors offers against our programmes so the Lead planner can provide quicker inputs to the TEAR reports.
  • Monitor and making sure suppliers and contractors progress reports are delivered on time according to their contracts.

  

Qualifications and competencies 

  • Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical or Production) Studies
  • Experience within project planning is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of project management and project management tools (e.g. MS project, MS Office package, Visio, Power BI, etc...)
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English both spoken and written way.
  • Proactiveness, critical thinking, work independently, good communication and organisational skills.
