Apeel Sciences is rapidly expanding operations around the world. To support this growth, Apeel’s Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Candidate Experience Specialist. Hiring exceptional talent is one of the most important jobs we have, and you will help us to ensure that everyone receives a world-class experience, whether or not they are offered a position. 

This position reports to our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist and will work full time from Santa Barbara, CA in a hybrid work environment. The expectation when onsite is to be available to greet candidates, conduct office tours and set up interviewing spaces as needed. We are looking for you to join us immediately.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with internal recruiters, stakeholders, and candidates to schedule complex phone, virtual, onsite, and presentation style interviews 
  • Manage the interview process across our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) and Google Calendar
  • Offer front line support to all candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience at all stages of the interview process
  • Work onsite at Apeel’s HQ to conduct campus & lab tours, book conference rooms, and ensure space is ready with zoom, whiteboards, etc. 
  • Support travel arrangements, make reservations for off-site interviews or dinners, and send thank you notes/follow-ups to provide a white glove interviewing experience

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in a talent acquisition/recruiting support role OR in a related customer service, administrative, or assistant type role
  • Ability to manage complex calendars and agendas across multiple countries, continents, and time zones.
  • Active problem solver that can adapt to rapidly changing schedules of candidates and internal stakeholders 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a start-up environment 
  • Ability to comfortably communicate with all levels of talent, from early career to executive level candidates
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse (preferred but not required)
