Responsibilities:

  • Lead the procurement process for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring a smooth transition from development to production.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
  • Implement product changes and manage the impact on the supply chain.
  • Analyze and manage the total cost of ownership for all supply chain activities.
  • Implement and monitor supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Address and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
  • Manage risks and develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Evaluate cost, quality, and delivery terms to make informed decisions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local and global suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 4 years
  • Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and standard processes.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Mexico procurement experience – an advantage
