Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement process for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring a smooth transition from development to production.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
- Implement product changes and manage the impact on the supply chain.
- Analyze and manage the total cost of ownership for all supply chain activities.
- Implement and monitor supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Address and resolve any delivery issues promptly.
- Manage risks and develop contingency plans to address potential supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure all changes are documented and communicated effectively.
- Evaluate cost, quality, and delivery terms to make informed decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local and global suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 4 years
- Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and standard processes.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Mexico procurement experience – an advantage
