Job Description
We seek an ambitious and hands-on process technician to operate high-tech plasma-based manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, and materials engineers and be encouraged to gain experience in various areas. This position involves hands-on work with complex semiconductor fabrication equipment, metrology equipment, and laser systems.
Responsibilities:
- Directly supports the high-volume manufacturing line.
- Reads and follows SOPs and work instructions, using basic math skills to meet production requirements.
- Operates a variety of metrology, surface finishing, and laser tooling, and performs incoming material audits, line inspections, and finished product inspections.
- Collects and evaluates quality data to ensure production requirements are met, identifies issues, and makes appropriate corrections.
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance on various tools, ensuring proper documentation of all production and testing information.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, demonstrating adaptability and familiarity with production processes.
- High school graduates at a minimum, with a willingness to work overtime during busy periods; a college degree is a plus.
- Detail-oriented individual with a keen eye for accuracy and precision in tasks.
- Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides, with the ability to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and exceptional safety history, with proven experience in fast-paced and high-volume production environments.
