Job Description
- Project Scheduling: You collaborate with Project Managers and other functional leads to develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule.
- Cost and Resource Reporting: You work with project teams and contractors to develop and set up various project cost reports, manpower, and commodity reports.
- TIC Estimation Support: You assist in the preparation of TIC estimates by providing actual project-related data, trends, and project changes.
- Validation and Analysis: You validate cost reports and schedules prepared by contractors for resource and cost loading, activity durations, schedule logic, float allocation, and critical path identification.
- Stakeholder Coordination: You liaise with all project-specific stakeholders whose actions may impact project cost, plan/progress (Earned Value)/schedule, to devise, agree, and implement mitigation actions.
- Issue Identification and Change Management: You highlight issues with corresponding recommended mitigation actions to the Project Manager; you implement Change Management as per established procedures and maintain a record of all PDNs, RFIs, change requests, and trends to ensure project budgets and forecasts align with changes.
- Allowance and Contingency Tracking: You keep track of usage of various project allowances and contingency and maintain drawdown curves.
- Cost Database Management: You establish and maintain project cost databases to reflect project cost history, enabling benchmarking with TIC estimates and preparation of Project Closeout reports.
- Educational Background: You completed a university degree in Engineering.
- Industry Experience: You have 15+ years of experience in project controls and estimating in refining, chemical, petro-chemical facilities, and/or renewables industries.
- EPC Experience: You have experience working in an EPC environment, managing EPCs.
- Project Lifecycle Expertise: You have worked on at least one process engineering industry sector project (refining, chemical, petro-chemical facilities, and/or renewables industries) as an Owner or Owner’s representative at all post-DBM phases of a project.
- Project Management Knowledge: You have experience working with project groups in all project phases, managing full life cycle costs, defining project scope, and participating in project risk management.
- Technical Skills: You have knowledge of Primavera, MS Project cost management, and ERP Systems, as well as implementing industry-standard change management processes.
- Best Practices Implementation: You have knowledge of up-to-date business processes and best practices as utilized on Major/Mega Projects.
- Leadership and Communication: You are a true leader and role model, a crisp communicator who enables fast decision-making throughout the company, and you effectively manage and influence multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
- Team Culture: You are a promoter of open communication and can create a positive culture.
- Strategic Mindset: You are driven by our scale-up vision, and your excellent strategic, organizational, and negotiation skills set you apart.
- Travel Willingness: You are willing and able to travel up to 30%.
- Language Skills: You are fluent in English; German would be a plus.

Salary: At Climeworks, salary ranges are assigned to a job based on the level of seniority and the location specific market median of similar jobs according to external benchmark surveys. Individual compensation depends on your skills, experience, and the value you bring to the team.
