Considering its further international business expansion, Parkwind is looking to enlarge its legal team with a Legal Counsel.

Your role:

- You will be joining Parkwind’s legal team focusing on general corporate, commercial and compliance matters in relation to renewables projects in Belgium and abroad.

- You will be responsible for negotiating and managing a diverse range of business contracts relating to on- and offshore wind energy and other renewables. You will advise on legal risk and liabilities associated with such contracts and how to manage these.

- You will advise on and support renewables tenders and projects across the globe.

- You will liaise with your colleagues of the business teams (incl. business development, projects, technology) to ensure and coordinate appropriate support.

- You will provide general legal support to project companies and other group entities.

- You will assist in preparing relevant internal documents and presentations for the management and/or board.

- You will work together with our lead counsel legal and insurance in building and maintaining a sound governance and compliance framework as regards among others corporate housekeeping and data protection.

- You will be a member of a dynamic legal team and will report to our lead counsel legal and insurance



Your profile:

  • You have a master’s degree in law.
  • You have preferably 3-4 years of relevant professional experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer with a reputable firm and/or a legal department of an international company.
  • You are punctual and precise while giving advice and while administering your cases and contracts.
  • You have experience/interest in contract management, commercial contracts and business law in general.
  • You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight.
  • You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders.
  • You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity.
  • You have an analytical mindset and can communicate advice and ideas, with respect for the business reality, to colleagues with a different educational background.
  • You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team.
  • You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis.
  • You are fluent in Dutch or French, and you are capable of working and drafting in English.
