Power Factors fights climate change with code. * Outside China and India  ABOUT THE ROLE Our team uses a mix of open source, SaaS, and internally developed tools and processes to manage and support our SCADA software product life cycle (deploy, configure, upgrade, monitor, optimize) accross a fleet of 1000’s of on-prem devices and multiple public and private Cloud k8s clusters.     WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING  <ul><li>Perform and automate deployment, maintenance, and upgrades across a fleet of servers and devices </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain live microservices based applications by monitoring performance indicators such as availability, throughput, and latency </li></ul><ul><li>Grow systems by advocating for changes that enhance reliability, performance, and serviceability </li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with development team members to support existing microservices on various deployment environments, on both cloud and on-prem infrastructure. </li></ul><ul><li>You will be working with technologies like Kubernetes (GKE, k3s), Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Mosquito, Redis, Ansible, Kafka, LAMP, Git, GCE, RHEL </li></ul><ul><li>Maintain production flows and CD processes for deployment of software and infrastructure systems at scale  </li></ul>WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL   We believe you enjoy working in a purpose-driven organization and that you thrive in an environment where you need to find creative solutions to challenging problems in a fast-changing context.
