Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Process Engineer Team: Independent management of the department; Technical employee management; Planning, reporting and cost control for the area of responsibility. Ensure that process analyses with the goal of optimizations are conducted in the plants regularly. Efficiency improvements need to be implemented and reported on a global level.
  • Technology Roadmap: Ensure availability and implementation of latest Manufacturing Technology, ensure Capital Expenditure is planned accordingly.
  • Investments / Capital Expenditure: Ensure the investment is in line with the Business Group Manufacturing Technology Roadmap and meets the requirements of Smart Automation.
  • Project work within the scope of process development: Project management for technologies with high implementation risk; Provides the framework for successful implementation of new equipment and implementation of engineering changes in the plant. Ensures that all projects on plant lever are executed according to corporate standards. Verifies the URS elaborated by the plant leaders.
  • Knowledge transfer: Exchange of information on the company's technology projects ("proof of concept"). Exchange of latest information on Business Group core manufacturing technology based on scouting activities. Discuss plant level initiatives and current processing challenges in the region.

Qualifications:

  • University education as engineer (or comparable) preferably mechanical engineering, mechanical process engineering or textile technology
  • Several years of professional experience in project leadership and management within the scope of international projects.
  • Practical experience in the production environment of filter elements.
  • Experience in the preparation of specifications / requirement specifications.
  • High expertise in project management, sound understanding of manufacturing processes. Business fluent in written and spoken English.
