We are looking for a Finance Controller for Information Technology function to join our team and oversee all aspects of IT financial management. You will be responsible for managing the IT budget, forecasting, procurement, and reporting processes, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies. You will also work closely with the Finance Team and the IT leaders to optimize the IT spend and allocation across different countries and business units. The IT Finance Controller will be responsible for global IT OPEX and CAPEX budget planning and forecast management.

As the IT Finance Controller, you will:

  • Participate in the preparation and development of the IT annual operating budget plan across all countries and HQ

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor budgets in alignment with IT strategic plan priorities

  • Work with Cost Center owners to ensure that spending is in line with budget/forecast

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual IT financial reports and budget/forecast/actuals variance analysis to the senior management and stakeholders. Prepare bi-annual forecasts for IT with clear justification for variance.

  • Manage the end to end process of invoice processing related to IT expense, including verification, validation & approval of vendor invoices

  • Continuously seek more efficient and streamlined ways to manage vendor invoices with a focus on reducing time. 

  • Collaborate with Finance to manage and track intercompany charges, review methodology for recharges, ensure appropriate supporting documentation is available

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls for IT financial transactions and reporting.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for IT cost optimization, efficiency, and value creation.

  • Review and develop consistent and clear processes globally based on best practices for managing financials for a function

What we expect from you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university; advanced degree preferred

  • Above 10 years of relevant experience in Finance, working in international cross-functional teams

  • IT budget management experience highly desirable

  • Proficient with MS Project, Visio and Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)

  • SAP ECC/S4, SAP Analytics Cloud

  • Experience with financial modeling in spreadsheets and / or other software

  • Ability to resolve conflict, negotiate desired outcomes and influence others

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Travel < 5%

  • Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) certification

  • Experience with budget controlling/finance/accounting

Location & working schedule:

  • Location: Pimple Saudagar, Pune 

  • Hybrid work: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote

  • Working hours: any 9 hours between 10:30 AM and 9:30 PM
