We are seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, team player, skilled designer, and has agency experience. Specific work will include branding, print and web design, user experience development, video creation, and much more. The ideal candidate enjoys project diversity and is passionate about the growth of clean energy and sustainable business. They thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and they are ready and excited to learn about new technologies and products.

Core duties

  • Assist DG+ colleagues and senior staff in developing marketing and creative strategies to build brands, grow awareness, and impact lead generation
  • Create high quality creative output, such as graphics, website page mockups, sales collateral, signage, and other branded materials
  • Participate in and often lead virtual meetings with clients to discuss strategy, deliverables, deadlines, and other project-related activities
  • Advocate for and deliver high-quality creative output that drives credibility, awareness, and business results
  • Communicate regularly with clients, internal project team members, and external parties
  • Manage client expectations and timing for project deliverables
  • Maintain a clean, safe home office work environment

Minimum qualifications

  • 4+ years of work experience
  • Exceptional graphic design and creative skills as well as a strong portfolio showcasing brand experience across a range of mediums
  • Fluency with industry-leading software and technologies (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, PowerPoint, Canva, etc)
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability
  • Strong skills around critical thinking and storytelling
  • Ability to communicate clearly and skilled at soliciting feedback
  • Desire to work in an agency environment, which entails balancing deadlines, staying organized, and continued learning on the job
  • A passion for (or strong interest in) sustainability and growing the clean energy economy
  • Professional attitude and ability to demonstrate the highest values and professionalism, such as through courteous and professional correspondence, following brand standards for both design and writing, and timely communication
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to concept, pitch and execute on ideas

Preferred qualifications

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, Google Analytics, and HubSpot
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and user experience (UX) best practices
  • Experience with motion graphics and knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or other tools

Compensation and benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience. DG+ benefits for all employees include:
