Job Description

We are currently looking for recent graduates interested in a Summer Internship to join our entrepreneurial and dynamic team based in Lisbon, starting in June/July 2023. You will be supporting transaction execution, preparation and client pitch work on the buy and sell-side. Your role will be fully integrated in the team and will allow you to work and interact with senior members of the FIG team and get direct transaction experience. The internship is a great opportunity to potentially be converted to a full-time Analyst position, if agreeable to both parties.

Your day-to-day duties will encompass:

  • Assist in the preparation of pitch presentations to potential clients
  • Buy and sell-side opportunities and other business development opportunities
  • Support the M&A team in the execution of transactions
  • Preparation of marketing materials, data-room management, meeting materials
  • Support the Pricing & Analytics team in credit analysis
  • Preparation of transaction data tapes, assessing quality of data and portfolio pricing
  • Help in maintaining our internal newsletters and databases
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Desire to learn quickly and adapt to new teams, clients and tasks
  • Strong academic background/results and, at a minimum, top of the class for main finance courses
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Capable of working under pressure
  • Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written); other languages (particularly Spanish, Italian and Greek) are highly desirable but not mandatory
  • Able to work in the European Union
