Job Description:

Based in Madrid, you will work in a highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment and become an integral part of our Spanish Debt Capital Markets and Debt Advisory Team, within Alantra’s Corporate Finance Team.

The day-to-day tasks will involve the execution of active DCM & Debt Advisory mandates:

  • Financial modeling and credit analysis to evaluate the optimal capital structure to meet client needs. Assessing debt repayment capacity
  • Management of Due Diligence and Q&A processes with the clients & other parties involved
  • Data-room management

Requirements

  • At least 2 year of experience from a leading investment bank, M&A boutique, leverage finance house or Big 4 accounting firm preferred.
  • Strong academic background/results and financial knowledge (accounting, valuation and debt capital markets) and understanding of financial statements
  • Excellent financial knowledge (accounting and company valuation) and understanding of financial statements.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to contribute your own ideas and work autonomously
  • Proficiency in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Capable of working under pressure and in a context of shifting priorities
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency (both written and spoken) in English and Spanish is a requirement
