About the Role:
We require a Sales Manager based in Germany to be responsible for driving sales of Discover Battery’s energy storage solutions to every current and potential market with an emphasis on servicing Original Equipment Manufacturers and their distributors.

Responsibilities:

  • Top Line Revenue Growth. Sales and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Account Management. Build, listen and maintain strong relationships and grow business with existing national and strategic clients, while continually prospecting and selling to new potential clients in all target markets.
  • Achieve established profit targets through revenue growth, expense control, and margin management.
  • Complete accurate and on-time reporting of key performance metrics. As established for sales and prospecting activity, through the achievement of opportunity-based sales quotas and participation and leadership of Discover’s Customer Relationship Management software.
  • Liaise with corporate leadership and team on best practices, customer wins, new opportunities, and competitive developments.


Qualifications:

  • University or college degree in relevant field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development, and business planning.
  • Professional demeanour, selling style and appearance.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Experience with customer relationship management software.
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
  • Self motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • English language proficiency required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport.
