Job Description:

In this role you will lead a functional work team within Accounts Payable focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Leading and coordinating the daily work of Accounts Payable Payments team.
• Monitoring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable payment transactions. Overseeing analysis of accounts and highlighting discrepancies/anomalies for correction. Ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures.
• Identifying, recommending and assisting in implementation of best practices to gain efficiency and drive productivity gains.
• Along with the Accounts Payable Manager leading Internal Control over Financial Reporting compliance and reporting for Accounts Payable.
• Overseeing a portion of the month end closing process for the Accounts Payable area.
• Providing regular coaching and training to the team.

Your background

• Higher education in Finance or other relevant field
• Previous experience in Accounting or Finance (preferably in Finance Common Shared Services)
• Experience in leading or coordinating a team
• Project management skills focused on improvements
• Ability to create an atmosphere of collaboration and trust
• Ability to engage and motivate team members
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
