Job Description:

IT Product Manager for the ServiceNow SPM Module will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, development, and implementation of the SPM module within our ServiceNow platform. They will serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, development teams, and end-users, ensuring that the SPM module meets the evolving needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert and advocate for the ServiceNow SPM module, understanding its capabilities, limitations, and potential applications within the organization.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.

  • Lead the development and maintenance of the product backlog, prioritizing user stories and features based on value and feasibility

  • Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable tasks, providing guidance and clarification as needed.

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the SPM module, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  • Provide training and support to end-users, helping to maximize adoption and utilization of the SPM module across the organization.

Your background:

  • Proven experience as an IT Product Manager or similar role, with a focus on enterprise software development and implementation.

  • Extensive exposure to the ServiceNow platform, with specific expertise in the SPM module.

  • Experience with agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience working in an agile environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to lead small teams or projects.

  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Knowledge of key IT process and organizational structures.

  • Strong focus on quality and ability to prioritize and manage tasks.

  • ServiceNow certification(s) preferred.

  • Knowledge of MS Products.

  • ITIL (preferred).

  • L6S (preferred).
