The candidate will support the delivery of Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change services with a focus on nature-related projects to ERM clients in Thailand and Southeast Asia, in alignment with ERM's purpose and values through:

  • Delivering projects across a range of sectors, clients, and countries across Southeast Asia/ Asia Pacific. Areas of project focus include:

  • Corporate sustainability, CSR strategy development, and target-setting with a particular emphasis on biodiversity conservation and nature-based solutions;

  • Climate strategy development integrating nature-based solutions, such as ecosystem-based adaptation and nature-based carbon sequestration;

  • Analysis of climate and sustainability risks and opportunities with a specific focus on biodiversity conservation;

  • Supporting clients in understanding and implementing the Task Force on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) framework;

  • Development of corporate sustainability, ESG reports, and biodiversity action plans;

  • Conducting biodiversity assessments and supporting clients in mainstreaming biodiversity considerations into their operations;

  • Supporting clients in responding to biodiversity-related assessment questionnaires and disclosure requirements, such as those related to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List and biodiversity reporting frameworks.

  • Supporting management and delivery of corporate sustainability and nature-related proposals.

  • Actively contributing to effective project teams through collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, ecology, biology, or a related discipline. (Master's is a plus.)

  • 2 - 3 years of experience in climate change, corporate sustainability, biodiversity conservation, or related fields. (Previous consulting experience is a plus.)

  • Understanding of current trends in biodiversity conservation, ecosystem services, and nature-based solutions.

  • Familiarity with TNFD, IUCN Red List, and other biodiversity-related frameworks. Ability to work independently with strong organization and time-management skills.

  • Effective presentation and communication skills in Thai and English.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
