Scientific Officer

• Location based in Dandenong South

The Scientific Officer will be responsible for providing support to the GMP laboratory.  You will work with a team of scientific technical staff to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and procedures are adhered to. Training will be provided.

Reporting to the Analytical Services Manager, the role will focus on:

• Receipt and log in of samples into a Lims system.
• Registration of incoming chemicals / reference standards and consumables.
• Stocking and maintaining all the laboratories with consumables.
• Assist with daily equipment maintenance and calibration of smaller laboratory equipment.
• Keeping the sample receipt area, laboratory, storage rooms clean, organised, neat and tidy.
• Assist in storage and retrieval of stability samples from the stability chambers.
• Assisting with scanning and data archiving.
