Position Summary:

The Regional Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic design and operational execution of the commercial marketing plans within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with the global and business line strategies.

Working closely with the global Marketing-Communications team, the business line and sales teams, the Regional Marketing Manager is ultimately responsible for the effective and appropriate implementation of marketing tactics and activities in his/her region to build brand awareness, generate leads and demand, and contribute to the achievement of sales goals.

Role Presentation and Objectives:

In this dynamic role, the Regional Marketing Manager is a key contributor responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies within a defined geographic area, collaborating with regional client-facing teams, and leveraging digital channels to enhance global brand presence, increase customer base, and drive sales and market share.

The Regional Marketing Manager actively contributes to accelerating Eurofins Discovery's CRO activities and inclusive of products when there is an in-region need, and expertise in drug discovery across the small molecules and biotherapeutics (Large Molecules, and Cell and Gene Therapy) drug discovery continuum. Additionally, the role aims to enhance client outreach in the assigned regions by utilizing effective marketing communication solutions to elevate brand awareness, build preference for innovative tactics, and increase internal stakeholder engagement in commercial marketing alignment.

The Regional Marketing Manager will have a positive impact on Eurofins Discovery through the strategy and execution of innovative and creative regionally focused internal and external marketing communications activities that are aligned with corporate and business line objectives. This accelerates CRO activities and inclusive of products when there is an in-region need, strengthens expertise, and expands the company's reputation, contributing to increased sales and market presence globally while maintaining a cohesive messaging across the integrated business lines.

Key Essential Tasks/Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, plan, and execute integrated marketing communications campaigns to increase visibility of all business line offerings in the assigned region.
  2. Identify and prioritize local messaging to target audiences in focused markets, ensuring relevance and resonance.
  3. Collaborate with the Global Marketing Communication and Business Line teams to deliver consistent (on-line and off-line) messaging for the optimal promotion of the Eurofins Discovery’s global offerings, under the supervision of the International Business Line Marketing Director.
  4. Manage and ensure the accuracy of the regional website, digital solutions and keyword portfolio, keeping content current by ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and regional marketing communications best practices - helping to optimize them as needed.
  5. Support and participate in the management and organization of regional and global events, seminars, trade shows, and webinars.
  6. Anticipate and execute all the local activities necessary to ensure sales enablement and sales alignment between all the internal actors involved in the sales process.
  7. Establish measurable KPIs, weekly track campaign effectiveness, and implement course corrections as needed - Maintain digital metrics sales lead data through the CRM and appropriate dashboards.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, New Business, Global Marketing, Business Line Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and Scientific Experts.
  9. Assist leaders and experts in becoming recognized and visible in their field by using the appropriate communication channels to raise the profile of Eurofins Discovery.
  10. Supervise local marketing and communications managers, specialists, or interns.
  11. Ensure consistent communication across all touchpoints and adherence to company guidelines and commercial processes.
