Intern Business Development (m/f/d)

Your mission
We are seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Intern to join our fast-growing biotech startup for 6 months in Hamburg. This position offers the opportunity to drive strategic partnerships, expand market reach, and support overall business growth initiatives.

• Create models to evaluate business opportunities and provide recommendations based on data.
• Assist in creating sales presentations and proposals tailored to potential customers' needs.
• Conduct and analyze market research with industry experts and stakeholders to map market entry barriers, government subsidies, and competitive dynamics in a given market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in tracking customer feedback and provide timely updates to the relevant teams.
• Participate in customer outreach activities to understand their needs and requests, providing support when necessary.
• Support in grant and award applications
• Support in conference and fairs participation.

Your profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous internship experience in sales and marketing within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, adapting to changing priorities.
• Demonstrated passion for biotechnology, food technology, and interest in sustainable food systems.
• Great communication skills in English, knowledge of German highly preferred.
