Role Overview
The Market Data Administrator at TP ICAP will oversee the daily procurement and management of Market Data services for broking desks within the EMEA region. Key responsibilities include maintaining MDM inventory integrity, managing vendor contracts, processing service requests, coordinating product installations, and handling Service Now/Workday tickets for staff movements.

The role also involves assisting with global database uploads, invoice reconciliations, vendor queries, and monitoring vendor notices for reporting obligations. The administrator will develop strong relationships with vendors and internal departments, manage data permissioning, prepare financial and management reports, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities while participating in inventory projects and ad hoc business requests.

Role Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity of the Market Data Management (MDM) inventory by tracking data licenses, users, and pricing.

  • Oversee the contract database process for market data vendors, ensuring accurate records and compliance.

  • Obtain necessary cost approvals for user requests in a timely manner.

  • Handle email and ticket requests to add, cancel, or reassign services due to personnel moves, departures, or changing business requirements.

  • Manage Service Now/Workday tickets for movers, leavers, and joiners to ensure seamless transitions.

  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the timely installation of market data products on user desktops.

  • Assist with global monthly database uploads for Bloomberg and HR.

  • Support the Market Data Finance Team with ad hoc invoice reconciliations, resolving discrepancies, and addressing vendor queries.

  • Monitor and screen notices and alerts from vendors, exchanges, and third parties to ensure compliance with reporting obligations and assess business impact.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all external market data vendors, internal departments, and business partners.

  • Manage data permissioning and prepare declaration reporting obligations for Refinitiv, Bloomberg, IDC, and direct bill exchanges.

  • Provide monthly finance and management reports and analysis to TP ICAP business units.

  • Review non-usage reports for market data services to identify potential cost savings and facilitate discussions with business units.

  • Participate in departmental inventory projects, fulfill ad hoc business requests, and contribute to initiatives aimed at delivering cost efficiencies.

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Detailed knowledge of MDM and Dashboard Reporting.

  • Experience with MDM upload interfaces (HR, BBG).

  • Detailed experience with Thomson Reuters DACS and B-pipe permission systems.

  • Experience with invoice reconciliation best practices and an understanding of month-end/finance reporting processes.

  • Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel is a must have)

  • Customer service focus, with the ability to communicate effectively with users and vendors at all levels.
