About Parameta Solutions

Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Product Implementation Analyst to join our team at TP ICAP Data & Analytics. This role involves developing a comprehensive understanding of our existing processes, analysing and pricing new data products, and supporting the enhancement of these processes using both internal and external applications.

Role Responsibilities

Product Development & Implementation:

Lead the development and implementation of regional and global product initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Product Implementation, Global Head of Product, or Product Managers.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Partner with sales teams and end users to define product requirements and support the sales process for various stakeholders, including:

  • Data Vendors (e.g., Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, ICE, IHS Markit)

  • Banking/Buy-side customers (Front/Middle/Back Office, Risk, Compliance)

  • Other end users

Market Expertise:

Provide expert knowledge on OTC derivative standards, best practices, and market developments across multiple asset classes (FX, Rates, Energy, Options) and geographies.

Regulatory Awareness:

Stay informed about current market developments and regulations to ensure compliance and relevancy.

Process Understanding:

Develop a deep understanding of TP ICAP and Parameta Data & Analytics processes, including underlying models and assumptions.

Data Integration:

Coordinate with internal and external data sources to fulfil customer requirements and facilitate the rollout of new products and improvements.

Product Maintenance & Improvement:

Enhance and maintain existing products on Data & Analytics databases, including:

  • Product specifications and reference data

  • Technical requirements for developers

  • End-to-end product deployment

  • Customer publications

  • Data presentation on third-party platforms


Marketing Support:

Engage in regional/global marketing activities, including:

  • Contributing to the D&A new product newsletter

  • Providing input for product-based marketing collateral (website, inventory)

Workflow Insight:

Gain a comprehensive understanding of TP ICAP broker workflows to identify and develop new data products and services that can benefit clients.

Experience / Competences

Essential

  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent work experience

  • Proven understanding of financial markets, role of an inter-dealer broker and use of OTC market data within financial markets

  • Demonstrated communication skills

  • Self-confidence, professionalism, initiative and diplomacy

  • Experience working with internal reference data databases

Desired

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and willingness to further develop skills

  • Ability to work to demanding targets and deadlines while maintaining a high degree of personal and team organisation and focus

  • Knowledge of current market developments, including regulations.

  • Demonstrated organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

  • Relevant certifications or additional qualifications in data analytics or financial markets are a plus.

  • Involvement in regional/global marketing activities, including contributing to new product newsletters and providing feedback for product-based marketing collateral.
